About Me
I graduated from Texas State University with my MFA in Costume Design, and the University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in Costumes and Makeup/Hair. Some of my other skills outside of costuming include but aren't limited to scene painting, light hanging/focusing, power tool use, welding, etc.
With pursuing my MFA my goal was to become a Professor one day. Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was young helping my mom. My mentors have been the ones to inspire me to hopefully inspire others. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to be in the role of a mentor to multiple students and it really instilled in me that I can be someone students can come to, as a person and mentor.
